How long does fender take to ship a bass?

I ordered a p bass today and the store said fender had it in stock. They never gave me an estimate on the delivery date. How long does the shipping process take? Never had a problem with the store in 20 years so they're not shady. I'm hoping to get it by this weekend.

Given that I don't know where you are located, where you bought it from, who and what method Fender will be shipping it with, how fast the store processes special orders and incoming shipments, or if everyone involed in the order (on Fender's end, the store's end, and the shipping company's end) is not only well trained, but also efficient at their respective jobs.. I'm gonna say 6 days, 7 nights. :ninja:

There are a few factors that play in to when your bass will arrive. It really depends on how the store places the order. If your special order was placed on their next "store stock", order it will come when their next regular Fender shipment is scheduled to arrive. You may wait a little longer, but unless you pay to have your bass expressed shipped, that is the most economical way for the store as well as you, the customer.

I had a special order fulfilled by Guitar Center directly from Fender. I placed the order on the evening of April 26 (a Friday) and I received it on May 11. I don't count the day I ordered it since it was after normal business hours (I did say "evening"), nor do I count Saturdays and Sundays as "business days". So, all told it took ten business days to get to my local GC.
