How long had you been playing before your first gig?

This time around it was about 3 or 4 months playing before I played in front of a few people... and about 18 months before I started playing bars.

Right now the band is not playing out as it is putting together it's first originals demo.

P.S. That means I haven't played a gig. Alaska doesn't really have a music scene...or music shops...or music halls...or clubs of any sort...or musicians...or the necessary oxygen to support intelligent life. Thus, I do not play gigs, or know basic math.

Whaddaya mean, no music scene?!? I was in Fairbanks last February (have no idea why my bro. picked Feb. to get married  ) and Dokken was playing at a local bar! I mean, the place looked like it could hold at least 50 people . . .
