How long is too long to wait for a speaker cabinet?

K, so I just called the store and the guy who answered said that he could call the supplier to see where it is.......
I've talked to them several times in the last couple of weeks about it and everyone comments about how long it's been, yet no one took the initiative to check it out. But that's partially my fault too.
Matthew, I really was referring to call the actual manufacturer's customer service to find out where the delay lies. Could be with them, or it could be with the distributor, in which case, you might have a harder time getting to the bottom of it, but if it's actually the manufacturer, they usually will bend over backwards to keep an "end user" happy..
This store doesn't seem to track stuff well though. I had something else which was "backordered from the manufacturer" and the very next day it showed up. So I think it just becomes "backordered" after a month or so.
Let's face it. When a merchant drops the ball on a special order, the first words they speak to the customer is "Back Ordered"! I know......I used to manage a local store for an old established southern chain.

The fact that you're in Canada, and the manufacturer is in Europe could certainly be an issue, just because of the shipping costs on a one piece order.
And if the store is indeed, part of a large chain, and the product is a well known, large brand, it seems like the store could get one from somewhere!

I agree with BassmanPaul
Long and Mcquade has great customer policies.
Ask to speak to the manager and see if he will let you have a loner cab til yours arrives.

They have done that for me when an amp I bought needed warranty work
