How long till I call the project off?

is it possible that unintentionally the word choice or phrasing in the ad is coming off more negatively than you intended? I find that sometimes people intend it to be a list of thoughts to help weed through potential candidates - but to an unknowing reader it can sometimes seem like a band full of negative Nellys if it has NO this and NO that...also definitions of Weekend Warrior can vary if there was a stipulation asking for none of them....to me a WW is someone with a regular job who gigs weekends - most if not all weekends with a rehearsal one or two evenings a week....

just a couple of thoughts....

it does take time... you really want it to.

notes

ADS - IF too specific, wordy and geeky cover band warriors will not be interested as it stinks of imploding upstart.

MATERIAL - do you guys have all of your set lists ready to go... meaning all inserted to Excel.... with keys... and production notes (tricky bridges etc)... are the mp3s ready on drop box?

STRUCTURE .... do you guys have the basics in place.... PA... solid name... easy to find website... image.... PRO photography... easy to duplicate logo.

GIGS.... have you guys EVER played out... even as a duo?... is there anything on a calendar?

Overall.... it's likely that the past 6 months has been spent on music and not management.... I can smell an upstart band a mile away. ... from my meager exerpience the majority of upstarts fail before the garage door opens.

OPINION....
Race and scramble to do some duo gigs (who knows you may be a better duo)... think through your image and get tons of photos that you can post on your image with your professional looking logo.
