My EBS Multi-Comp is always on. Since it has the internal / crossover trim pots, to allow me to set more compression on the lower frequencies and less for the upper frequencies, I can leave it on without having to think about it.
I got the DarkGlass, Harmonic Bass / Clean Boost pedal, a few weeks ago, to bump up my passive bass output levels, but the dang thing sounds so good, that I have also been using it with my active basses.

I usually bring two pedals if you don't count the ST-300 tuner. (Dry Bell Unit 67 and a Broughton HPF) But neither one of them are always on. Depends on the room. Half the time I don't use them at all.
