I have a cheap guitar amp gathering dust in the loft but I no longer play guitar. For bass I have just the one that I bought around 2003 when i got my first bass. It's nothing special but it does the job so I have no reason to have GAS.

Two practice amps , a GK MB 150 , and a GK MB200 with an Ampeg 210 . Initially bought the MB150 to use with my upright . It also became my main practice , rehearsal , studio amp . Picked up the other rig to leave at my mother-in-law's as we're there a lot . Gotta love the class D heads , plug in headphones and a tablet ... perfect little practice rig !
For years used a GK RB400 , sold my original and bought the RB400 version IV . Great classic head .
Stopped using that when I picked up a GenzBenz Streamliner 900 . Three tube preamp and a ton of headroom . Warm and dark sounding . And picked up some Bergantino cabs , an HDN 112 and 210 . Loved the cabs so much I picked up a Bergantino Forte . Simple clean transparent power , I love it .
So I think I'm good for a little while . But one never knows ...

One for every sized gig. Smallest is a 1x8 SWR LA-8, Celestion 8" with a Summit TD-100 as a Pre. It's best doing roaring big stage sound at acoustic guitar unmiked vocals levels.

I love amps and have explored quite a few but I like to not be a collector... one great amp (and bass) is all I need although I like having at least one outboard pre to shape/flavor things more if I need to.

At this moment I have more amps than I have ever had. 2 plus a combo! I have my trusty Mesa D800, but I don't really use it anymore. My main players is a Darkglass MT900 v2.

For a week I actually had an Aguilar 751, a Mesa Carbine M9, and a my D800. I was doing a shoot out. The two bigger heads didn't blow me away, so I returned them.

How's the cab sim on it? Is it able to work with the headphone out as well as the DI?

It is actually pretty awesome. I'm not playing in a doom\stoner band any more. It fits the weird groove\thrash\death thing I am doing now very well. There is a lot of control over the drive channel. The built in compressor is decent, sort of like the compressor in the M9.
The headphone out with IR capability works as advertised. The stock IRs are not what I wanted, but using the Darkglass software and a USB cable I can load my own IRs. Pretty nifty. Now I use the HP out with a set of Shure e215 IEMs for stage monitoring. Works fine for practice. Haven't tried it live yet. Might need to get a wireless setup.

I actually planned to replace the Ampeg with another Class-D amp, so I'd have a gigging backup in case the Terror Bass had to go in for repairs, and keep one OBC 112 at home for practice (two are overkill in my main band’s rehearsal room, rest is pretty much provided backline / pedalboard into mixer). As it looks like I’ll only have one more gig this year “thanks” to the pandemic though, the point is moot. I’ll check out alternatives next year or the year after. If there weren’t a certain GASyness for the Orange Little Bass Thing …
