Hi there, I'm new here. But I feel lucky to have 3 guitars and 3 basses.

I have 3, but am always looking due to chronic GAS. I am amazed at the large collections of some of the members.

1966 Harmony acoustic - still in great shape after 46 years!
2003 Fender Mustang Bass with GHS P-Flats - good thumper
2011 Squier SE Strat - better than I expected for a "starter" git

Not sure what will be next. P-Bass, perhaps. Decisions, decisions.

I don't consider myself much of a guitarist, but I belong to three different bands which practice at my house. The guitarists don't have to bring anything with them if they don't want to. Also, when we host parties, (often) they usually are made up of our musician friends. It's nice to have a decent selection of instrument for whatever comes up. (This is the main reason that my guitars are generally modest instruments.)

Edit: 4 now. A P-Bass (a Yamaha RBX 260), a J-Bass (a BBG4), a P-J active (an Ibanez SR800) and an acoustic 5-string. Continuing with my previous post's extrapolation, I should acquire 3 more in the next 5 months. Any recommendations ? :rolleyes:
