I've wittled my collection down from 7 basses to my 2 USA Cirruses. Looking for a fretless third, then I'm done. Until I can get a 7 string Cirrus, that is, hehe.
I am psychologically unable to own a bunch of instruments. That said the churn has been heavy over the past year or two. At present there are two keepers (Fodera Yin Yang Deluxe, Rob Allen Deep 5 fretless) and one that is on the block (Skjold 92 fretless). But next week a Sadowsky RV4-HPJ and Rob Allen Deep 4 fretless will show up, and another 3 instruments are in the pipeline. At some point it'll settle down to probably 5 instruments, each with a particular strength. Plus there is a Martin OM-21 that will stay.
I honestly applaud those people that can proudly say (and have voted) that they own only one bass (or guitar). They have much better GAS control than me.

At any rate, before the larger body horns.
The Ric sounds really nice on the neck pickup but I find it very uncomfortable to play. I really prefer the feel of a P-Bass or Jazz
