How many basses do you have?

Seven.
The Jetglo 4001, Burgandyglo 4001 and the GL Jazz Bass get the most use with the doubleneck, CS and WAL getting the least attention. I go through phases where I dont touch the fretless for awhile. I'm in one of those 'stretches' now.
I pretty much never even open the doubleneck case but once in awhile break it out. Besides the mods on it, it is pretty much still factory new. The CS bass got a lot of use from 1991-2001 with he last four years there being in a YES tribute band. I break out the WAL from time to time when I get into an 80's RUSH kick. I am going to have it wired for stereo like I just had done to my GL Jazz Bass. I'm going to remove the XLR direct out on the WAL and use that spot for the stereo output lack. Always liked the sound of my Rickenbackers (CS wil be stereo only soon as well) in stereo and will never, if I have any say in it, will go back to mono. The seperate pickups to seperate amps thing is the only way I want to go. I was COMPLETELY blown away when I got my GL Jazz Bass back, I can only imagine what my WAL might sound like in true stereo. And my Rickenbacker CS will sound awesome once it's in true stereo.

Sure, I'll play along.

I have 7, but one is currently in pieces awaiting some routing and a new finish.

The 6 playable basses are:

'08 Regenerate Guitar Works Pbass (Very early prototype)
'09 Regenerate Guitar Works Fretless (another very early prototype)
'01 Rick Turner Electroline Fretless 5
'99 Warmoth Jazz
'00 G&L L2500 USA
'08 Fender Am. Std. Jazz V

The RGW Pbass, RGW fretless, and the G&L get the most use in my regular Southwestern Americana band, the Turner gets the most use playing Jazz. The G&L gets used at church a lot, or a fretless. The Warmoth J-bass gets used mostly for home practice, when I feel like funking out, and for recording. The Fender Am. Std. Jazz V is getting some play time, too, but still a little undecided on it's fate (good player, great B, but less personality than any of the other basses. A little bland).

I'm generally very happy with everything, but I'm GASing for a Regenerate Guitar Works P5 in Honeyburst to replace the G&L and Fender 5's. Rod's a great guy!

I'd like to think all my basses have a specific function or purpose but that's probably a stretch... they're all 4 strings and only the first 3 get played:
MusicMan Stingray
Spector EuroLX4
Fender Coronado-1
Warwick Corvette (fretless)
Epiphone El Capitan (acoustic)
...someday I'll save up to get a vintage P bass and 4001

I'm loving the jaw-dropping collection pictures.

I have 4 basses. (ordered in amount of attention)

07 Fender Geddy Lee jazz
07 Musicman Sterling
04 Fender MIM Jazz V w/ SD Basslines, audere JZ3 Preamp, and a Badass V Bridge.
Brice HXP-406

I have to say that the Brice gets the least amount of attention. I bought it mainly to have a 6 string. I still get it out every now and then though. :)
