Up to 8 now. Fender AV II 1966 Jazz Bass in Olympic white. Arrived last night! Full spa treatment/setup today including Roto 77 flats and installation of "ashtrays." I did leave out the neoprene mute--I DO love that vintage "clank" of the Jazz bass! My LOVELY, LOVING, GENEROUS, SUPPORTIVE WIFE INSISTED I must have this because it represents her birth year. Who am I to argue with my bride of 35 years...

Then two double basses from the 70s, a couple of guitars, and a mandolin ... but those don't count (not on this forum )

The Bongo was a huge surprise to be honest. Plays like butter. With TI flats, the tone is out of this world. Fat, crisp. Top notch craftsmanship. I haven't played in a live setting with it yet, so tbd ... but so far it's absolutely one of the best basses I've ever played (for my hands).

Just added this Player Plus V to my stable which brings me to 10 for like the third time in my career. It’s was a birthday present to myself. Had my stable down to 6 at one point.
Waiting on a Audere pre to throw in it and maybe Nordy or Aguilar pups.

Just sold the Cort fretless, so I'm back down to four.... for now. I have a neck and body in progress with Warmoth that should be here next month. So the replacement fretless will be happening soon!

I've already been down GASoline alley with guitars (and pedals). I've learned that what I really need is more time to play, and not more gear sitting around unused.

Sadly just one, the Harley Benton-backer (rickenbacker-esque) that I bought on sale because I desperately needed one for doing demos after having a rough go of it financially. I miss my Maruszczyk P desperately and hope to sell enough pedals this year to get a new one.

I built it with brass inserts for the pickup screws, and routed it to handle both P and J patterns.
The pickups are connectorized.
By swapping guards and pickups I can switch it from a PJ to a JJ config in about 10 minutes time... once I finish making the J pickguard. It has to extend a bit further south than a standard J guard to cover the P rout.
