Hi, kinda by playing frequence

-Ibanez EBX404 MIK (newly aquired for me for Xmass - lightest bass I have held and cool "RG" shape)
-BC Rich Zombie Special MIK (2x P and BC Rich preamp = full brutal sound/brutal neckdive too)
-Sakai bass from 70s MIJ Matsu or Teisco factory (deep unique sound and easy to play due shortscale)
-Ibanez SR885 MIJ - unique "jazz" pup settings, La Bellas flat on it (comfiest 5 string I have ever seen, very stable, joy to play and very light)
-Ibanez SR800 MIJ. (very nice sound with active PJ pups and comfy C/D slim neck)

Next week MAYBE i will get Spector Euro Rebop 5 made in my homeland, but really not sure yet as thought it is LX at first... And no clue about Spector basses overall...

GAS stuff:
My dream bass is Rickenbacker 4001 from 84 or older... Could get it, but still quite a cash to dish out. Hard to satisfy the cost as I enjoy my cheap Ibanezes a lot.

Would love to get also BC Rich Warlock with 2x P as it is more comfortable than Zombie with its sharp bottom horn for sitting session...

Would love to get old Gibson SG shortscale too. Known for neckdive but I bet nothing is worse than BC Riches with this issue.

I have six and keep telling myself that I don’t need anymore.

EBMM Stingray EX - Black & Maple
Vintera Mustang - Fiesta Red & Pau Ferro
Squier Bullet - Black & Maple
EBMM Stingray - Burnt Apple & Rosewood
Vintera 50’s P Bass - Sea foam & Maple
EBMM Stingray - 2 color sunburst & Rosewood

7. Could realistically justify 4 of them.
Squier CV 60s with flats
SBMM Ray 35
Heartfield DR5 w/East Uni Pre (love that bass)
Ibanez lawsuit P fretless.
Reckon a semi acoustic shorty might be a sound I don't have covered.

Glad you mentioned the Heartfield DR5. I have a number of great (pro) basses but recently rediscovered my Heartfield with a Nordstrand pre and some old Bartolini's I had laying around. Stable, easy to play and sounds killer. One account requests it. That and my Nordstrand "Cat" bass.

I have two functioning ones as of today. Jazz and split coil pbass pickups covered. Throw in a small, light travel bass and I'll be done till I decide to splurge at some point this year. Considering a Thunderbird but I am also interested in a G&L Tribute L2000. Never had a bass with active circuitry before. Could be worth giving it a shot.
