8, which is too much for me so I need to start selling.

1. Ibanez GSR100 (first bass)
2. SX SJB75 (natural)
3. SX SJB 75 (red)
4. OLP MM2
5. Ibanez ATK300 (burst)
6. Ibanez ATK300 (black)
7. Squier VM Precision
8. Fender Geddy Lee Jazz

I own 1 bass now....just sold 3 basses and looking for a new 2nd.
The one I kept is an 83 SQ P-bass (MIJ)...best bass I have had in years.

SX Ursa 3
MM Precision style with Jazz Neck Tuned EADG
MIM Fender Jazz with heavy roundwounds tuned CGCF
Galveston Hazze Wazeen signature 5 string

Used the MM and the Fender live up until I got the SX which blew those two away after a setup. Will get an SX Jazz and dump those other two. I know they are cheap but you just can't ignore playability and sound no matter the price. I don't use the 5 er cause its kind of uncomfortable.

1. Fender P (Late 80's)
2. Fender J (Japanese Reissue)
3. Spector NS-2A
4. Spector Legend Classic (for sale)
5. Pre-Fender Kubicki
6. Pre-Fender Kubicki
7. Post Fender Kubicki custom top fretless
8. Godin A4 synth access
9. Rickenbacker 4003 (1980)
10. Rickenbacker 4080 Double Neck (1983)
11. Eppi EBO
12. German Upright
13. Stingray 30th Anniversary (wait...just sold Thursday :crying:)
14. Double Neck 4/5 Fretless/Fretted (for sale)

custom midi bass...some day....

Oops back up to 14 missed the Martin Acoustic

A pair of mid-60's Guild Starfires with the single coil pu, a cherry & a sunburst.
A USA Charvel 5 string, forgot model.
Engelhardt ES-9.
That being said, I'm primarily a singer/guitarist, mediocre harpist(actually, I don't overplay, which puts me ahead of most all of them), lousy pianist, but, maybe due to I no longer have one.

In the order I got 'em....

My 6
Alembic, 1987 Series I 4 string
Alembic, 2000 Series II 5 string
Marchlewski, 2004 5 string
Roscoe, 2006 LG-3005 fretless
Music Man, 1980 Sabre
Music Man, 1979 Sabre

+ my son's 2
Fender, mongrel P bass
Squire, VM Jazz fretless

I'm the proud owner of two basses: a MIM Fender Jazz and a Yamaha RBX375.

I want to own some more that can perform a different function: for instance, a fretless bass, a 5-string with a C string instead of a B string, and perhaps a short-scaled bass when I feel too lazy to pick up a long-scaled one. Oh, and an acoustic one, just for a different sound. And possible a 4-string Precision Bass to have one with a low growl, while using some lighter gauge strings on my current Jazz for a brighter tone.

Three.......here is a pic of my girls.
