I voted and posted on a similar thread about a year ago, but this apparently isn't it as I never voted on the poll in this one. Anyway, I got up to 10 or 11, but I've narrowed it down to three over the past six months:

Ibanez SR755
Schecter Elite 4
Warwick Proline 4

Unless I randomly decide that I need a fretless, I don't see myself buying any more basses. And I've tried the fretless bit, it didn't work well for me, so that probably isn't going to happen.

Although I have managed to downsize to the magic "15" number, I suspect that I may whittle my collection down a bit more yet.

However, all of the basses in this rack are staying...

I really need to spend more time on "photography" but I'm finding it hard to put my basses down long enough these days. Apologies for the snapshot (white balance is way off).

Five, now:

1) EBMM Sterling
2) Wm Eberle Laminated upright
3) Dean Rhapsody Fretless
4) Danelectro DO Longhorn
5) Ibanez 506

Brought home the Dano a few months back and gf asked me "how many bases do you need?" I explained that Dano was not a bass, but a toy...

Bought my first bass off TB a couple weeks ago, the Ibanez, and I have been trying to sell the Dano to justify it, but not trying very hard. After reading this thread, it looks like I should probably buy a couple dozen more....

I got under 30 a while back and looked in the basement and seemed a bit empty. There is nothing that rare or extra special but I'm always trying to get rid of what I don't really like and upgrade to something a bit nicer.
