The Thumb. Not because I don't like it, but it needs to be fixed and I just don't have the time to worry about it right now.

I own ten basses currently. However, as I play out of two locations that are about 100 miles apart, and I don't want to schlep basses back and forth, I give myself a little bit of a pass in the following sense.

- I need an upright in each location, that's two.
- I need an acoustic bass guitar for practice/charting purposes in each location, that's four.
- I need each of a Jazz, a P, a Stingray 5 and a good fretless, that's eight.

That leaves two that I probably should sell. Both fretless basses that I don't really use.

You're probably right, the store I was working in bought out the last 750XL's in early/mid '90 and they shipped us the bass as a mistake. It was probably made in 89 but was going off memory when I put it in my list. Great bass and I got it at store cost!
