Many Koreans are proud of Kimchi, but my thoughts are somewhat different.It's true that there are MANY lactobacillus, minerals, vitamins ,and edible fiber in Kimchi.
But Kimchi has high sodium content.
Someone even thinks Kimchi is responsible - at least partly - for high incidence of stomach cancer in Korean population.
Anyway, I believe Kimchi has more benefits than harm.
There is no garlic, onion and fish sauce in Buddhist temple Kimchi, so if you're vegetarian or garlic hater, try temple Kimchi.
