How many gigs did you play in 2009?

Not nearly as many as I will in 2010.

+1 to that.

I played about 15 shows this past year.

Started the year off in an all original metal band. Quit that in February when they wanted to concentrate on recording and not worry about playing gigs. They just imploded in the last 2 weeks with some nasty in-fighting. Glad I was out of that.

Now I am playing in 2 cover bands with gigs already booked for the next couple of months basically every second weekend. :bassist:

I played 25 with the two-three-four piece. (Some combination of me and a guitar, a percussionist, and a second guitar.) It varies. Same venue, though.

Two more gigs with a local country/rock band, where I get first call to sub for their bassist.

Another two gigs with a rock band I joined this summer, but their problems of holding the band together were too much to keep the band together.

So that's about 29 gigs this year.

52 gigs in 2009, the lowest in quite a few years. for most of 2009 i was a member of only 2 bands, which is also the lowest in quite a few years. :) spending a lot more time in the studio, produced about a dozen records in 2009 & played on many of them.

We had about two gigs a month. So 24. All original music and band still exists, but with new drummer added 3 days ago. Not sure what the future holds, but I am still having fun doing it. I'd like to hit the East Coast this spring for a frenzy of shows at college campuses

Hmm, definitely the coolest year of shows for sure. Played with All American Rejects, Girl Talk, Shiny Toy Guns, As Tall As Lions, Lights etc.
Full east coast tour...
I guess we played rough 60ish shows. Great year :)

We just released new tracks today on our myspace...Link Removed ...check it out and tell me what you think!
