hmmm.. this topic has gone some off topic...

but corrections... greenland was NOT green 1000 years ago.

and Iceland hasn´t got much Ice... not 1/1000 as much as greenland anyway... (I should know.. I live here)

those stupid (no pun intended) normans who named the county just saw one bay with grass in Greenland and decided to name it Greenland... and on Iceland they saw one place with alot of ice and named it Iceland...

I hate that every time someone hears Iceland the instantly connect it to Björk... I don´t like her music ... but I guess she deserves to be famous.

My apologies,also,for going so far off topic.

But as long as we're talking inches and centimeters etc,I was just working on my car,a chevrolet,and it has both metric,and SAE (inch)bolts.I just wish they'd pick one or the other.SHEESH!
