HOW MANY OHMS ARE YOUR SPEAKER CABINETS?

Greenboy's post should negate any "this is better than that" for whatever reason. I'm also sick of hearing all this, "I need less ohms to get more out of my amp" stuff. It's not needed. If you have to figure all that, you didn't bring enough rig for the gig. Do you rev your car engine to 5000rpms everywhere you go to get the most power out of it? Do you think it's going to last very long, be very reliable after a time doing all that.....didn't think so.

My combo cabinet section ( 2 - 10" speakers) is 8 ohms. I added a 1 - 15" cabinet at 8 ohms for a total impedance of 4 ohms.

All 6 of my speaker cabinets are 8ohms. (one 1x18, three 2x10, and two 1x15.) That way I can mix and match any 2 and have 4 ohms.

Good thinking....that's exactly the reason everything I own/made/bought/ whatever is 8ohms. A 4ohm 215+2x6 is in the beginning stages of design but if I do it right, it won't need any help. But if it does, I can always do another 4ohm and wire up a series cable.

Back to 8ohm so I can get less power out of my head......so there.
