No...Really... I was just interested in what ohm cabs the people were using on TB. I've already asked GB why they don't make a lightweight 2 ohm amp (besides the 42 lb GBE 1200 which I already own), and I'm satisfied with their answer. I'm sure their market research is far more extensive than any puny unscientific survey done on TB by me ...but...I do have a couple of other little nagging hunches I wanted to explore and I will share my puny little findings at the end of the survey.

(2) Acme B-4's, 8 ohm. Daisy chained, they give me a 4 ohm load and, properly powered, make an impressive 8 X 10.

I HAVE A SINGLE 8 OHM BFM OMNI12TB AND A STUCK SHIFT KEY.

My main cab is a four ohm Genz Benz NeoX 212T. When I'm taking a cab to gig, that's the one to grab.

I've got a few eight ohm cabs (Sealed 4x10 with Jensen Mod 10/50's, a cab with a 1973 Fane Crescendo and a bastardized Len Moskowitz cab with "the wrong" woofer in it because the original burned up and I found an eight ohm woofer cheap) that see use for various other reasons, such as when using a tube bass amp, but when I need to go someplace with a cab, It's the Genz.

The NeoX 212T:

1) Can get pretty loud, as needed.
2) Sounds pretty good.
3) Is light enough that stairs aren't an issue
4) Is rack width so it easily fits through most doorways
5) Is tall enough with kick back wheels that I can walk a long way with it if I need to.

Did I mention that the NeoX is something of a dream cab for me?
