Question for those who tune E-C. Do you use the stock nut or have a new nut crafted for the smaller strings?
I strung my 5ver eadgc for a while, I liked the high c but missed the d on the b string so I went back to beadg.
So now I am looking aroung for a 6 string to get the best of both, but I am having trouble finding a 6 where the fret board is not so wide as a 1x8 plank of wood.....
I would probably tune the c string to b however, to keep similar finger patterns on it and regular guitar.
