How much do looks really matter?

If you think looks don’t matter... you are wrong. We don’t have to look like Jason Momoa, but we have to look respectable.
But seriously - don’t try too hard either. It’s a fine line. Nothing more sad than an 80’s hair metal throwback band with receding hairlines and burgeoning beer guts trying to be badass rock stars. It makes me cringe - seems to be a plethora of them around here as of late. Put some thought into your look/age/audience/presentation. If I see another vid of out of shape dudes playing ‘Lick it Up’ on Facebook I’m going to barf.

I wear work boots. I don’t ride horses. Why would I need cowboy boots? I do work - so I have work boots. I literally work, and gig, in them.
