Hey.. i got a 57 precision re issue off ebay for 750 dollars. candy apple red, gold scratch plate. How much would one of these cost new?

At present there are basically two models of '57 Precision being offered by Fender Japan...a lower priced model (PB57-60) and a higher priced model (PB57-78US). At today's exchange rate the PB57-60 sells for $500 Austrailian dollars, and the PB57-78US sells for $650 Austrailian dollars. Those prices do not include shipping from Japan, which will probably be around $100-150 Austrailian dollars. I'm not sure about the rules for your country (Austrailia), but there may also be some Customs/Duty fees incurred when buying one of these directly from Japan.
