How Often Do You Just Drool?

I usually do, after stuffing my pie hole with Reese's anything. Less drool when I fill it to only half capacity.

I enjoy browsing Reverb and other sites just to look at basses and see what's out there or to take note of what the average values appear to be for the things I own (not that asking prices tell you much). It will be quite some time before I actually need another bass, so I really don't have much intention of buying anything.
My wife has been very supportive in this regard and keeps telling me I can buy something, but after all the stuff I"ve bought in my life, I feel like it's time to just appreciate what I have for a long time. However, it's always fun for me to look at basses.
Pedals, on the other hand, are a different story. I have a few things in mind, there.

Anymore with the way things are going these days, I drool over the aspect of being able to play again. I've never been one for sitting around the house playing by myself. Most new basses don't interest me. I want to enjoy the 14 that I have.

For me, its every day...

I look around almost daily, but never with any drool or intent of purchasing. Just browsing, unless something too good to pass on comes along. Mainly I think I browse cl and ebay for a good project instrument.

Pretty much daily. There are two types:

1) I'm actually doing research on something I'm going to buy. So lots of YouTube videos of comparison tests, reviews, sound examples, online customer reviews, forum discussions, hunting for lowest prices, etc.

2) I'm not looking to buy, or at least not in the near future, but I'm interested in the product out of curiosity and/or admiration.

Every day also for me but I have to say that about the same amount of times I shake my head looking at how many so-called boutique basses are on sale on the classifieds ... can’t figure out why these superior instruments are constantly on sale; should I manage find and buy my instrument I’ll just play it until it will be usable.
I’m under the impression, instead, that there’s a lot of hype with people buying what they really don’t need.

I peruse the classifieds and basssandiego.com, basscentral.com and reverb looking at 6 string Dingwalls every week or so. At this point, it’ll be a while before I’ll get the green light from my wife, and I’m fine with that. I’ve got PLENTY of killer stuff to not play at gigs...

Not over Basses, but certainly classic cars until I remember just how bad some of them drove, and what it took to keep them drivable.

I need something to keep me occupied, that's how I'm justifying it anyway. I liked the grain of this particular Sire Marcus Miller V7 5, I paid what the seller asked. I've no experience with these basses, something to keep me busy.
