I'm really confused... I thought you were trying to learn 3 songs (originally 5 songs) in a hurry, for an audition in 1 week?
If the audition isn't for 2 years, then that should be plenty of time, not only to learn the 3 songs, but to take lessons, broaden your skill set, build music vocabulary, jam with your friends, join a band, play gigs, write some songs of your own, and generally become an excellent all-around musician. If you learn 1 song per week, then in 2 years, you will know over 100 songs. If you learn 1 song per day, then in 2 years, you will know over 700 songs!
So now that you have a clearly-stated goal (pass the audition in 2 years) you can work with your teacher to come up with a weekly lesson and practice plan, to help you achieve that goal.
