Hello,

I just won an auction on ebay for those monitors here:

[Invalid or Expired Link Removed]

I own a iPad 2 and I would like to know how to connect them to it and make them work.
The goal is to connect the bass/guitar/midi key to rehearse songs and record
So I do need some links to cables, interfaces and stuff.
I do own a line6 sonic port which was mine interface "on the go" (like, IPad - headphones - bass) ... now I would like to use it with monitors too.

Thanks in advance for your help.

Most budget interfaces have a midi in port, the line6 doesn't. You don't need an interface with a lightning port integrated, every usb-interface that is class-compliant (doesn't need a special software to work under Windows or a Mac) works with ipads if you use it with the so-called camera-connection kit from Apple.

Conclusion: if you want to use the monitors and the midi-key, you need another interface. Or you have to live with the cheapest but limited quality solution: use an adapter to connect the monitor speakers with the headphone-out of the iPad and leave everything else as is.

Hello,

end up buying myself this:

Which is really what I was looking for. An "all in one" interface that (besides from the great feature of charging the iPad) gives you the possibility to plug a bass/guitar and or/microphone and/or midi keboard and the same time. Which I find great for live situations too.

Here's a video tutorial that answered all my questions (the "how to connect and use" starts at 4.06):

Now all I need are two 1/4 cables to connect them form the interface into the monitors.

Thanks to all who helped.
