how to date a yamaha

Ok thanks, I think it has been made in 1987, i'm not sure...

On guitardaterproject.org the serial number is unvalided, but If I insert NZ90314 instead of 090314 it's Ok...

Go Invalid Link Removed and look at the last table, which has the numbers for BB basses.

Where did you get NZ? If the serial number is just 090314, then it was made in 1982.

Before I got serious with my BB800, I emailed Yamaha customer service and they told me how old she was. They keep good records and are very helpful, I found the email link at the Yamaha website, I think they got back to me the next day.

The best way to date a Yamaha...hhmm,OK I got it.You buy some flowers put on your best threads,You find a nice romantic restaurant preferably on the water,You may kiss the yamaha lightly on the thumbrest on first date,I try and go all the way by the 3rd date,I fhte Yamaha resists you after this ditch it and find a new Yamaha then repeat same thing............LOL Im sorry I cant resist that one.Does'nt Yamaha have a support page like Ibanez?I figured a date on Ibanez by going to the Home page try this
