How To Get Shell Pink?

I've been wanting a shell pink strat for a while. I can get a nice maple reversed CBS style neck from Warmoth like I want for pretty cheap, but I can't find anyone with a shell pink body (that isn't beaten to complete crap) for under $150, and Fender stopped selling them in that colour. But, Squier sells a pinks strat that looks like it just needs to be a slight bit lighter, and a good bit yellower, and it will be the colour I want exactly.

Would there be anyway to change the body just enough to my liking? Like putting a heavy poly finish on it to yellow it some? Or am I just a fool, romanticizing the difficulty of such a task?

Or... should I find some pink paint, and mix it with poly, and linseed oil, and some white, and try and make my own shell pink on a cheaper, crappy beaten up strat body?

Oh, cool, thanks. I looked around a bit, and I didn't see anybody offering it before. I would much rather do that to a crapped up body off of Ebay.

I took a rough pic of what shade i wanted to a local paint/auto parts store they nailed it first time,and told me of a guy that would spray it cheaply too.

Looks like a faded fiesta red rather than a shell pink.

Yeah, that's Coral Pink, not Shell. The red pigment used back in the day faded faster than the other colors, and when it faded out of a Fiesta Red guitar, that was the result. The name Coral Pink just came from people over the years assuming it was it's own color.
