What type of effects are used in Thin Lizzy's "Waiting for an alibi"?

And what are some pedals I can use to get that sound?

I'm pretty sure it's a phaser, not a flanger.

Look at an MXR phase 90, EHX small stone, or MXR phase 100 (the 100 is similar to the 90 but has more features--the 90 still sounds great though)

My experience of the Boss PH-3 phaser is that it cuts low end. According to reviews here you can get some great sounds out of it though.
