How to make bass speaker sound lower?

There’s a lot of speculation about how he got the sound, it may be best to just ask the man himself. Nate Edgar was the bassist and is easily found and contacted on various social medias. There’s a good chance he’s a real nice guy and would take a minute to explain how he got that specific tone and maybe even offer advice to dial in your setup similarly.
I'll do that and let you guys know if he replies.

I've been using a BackBeat. It provides enough low end to feedback through my body. Along with in ears, I no longer use a cabinet on stage. Bass sounds huge out front, where it should, and doesn't leak into every other mic on stage.
