How To Spend $500 At Guitar Center?

I'm confused, I can't work out what is wrong with that.

It's worked for me for over 56 years, so I can't really say it's wrong. My point is that to me, getting up, plugging in, turning on an amp, setting the dials, pedals and et cetera seems almost like work when compared to just reaching over and grabbing a geetar.

When I retired a couple of months back, my employer gave me $500 in Guitar Center gift cards. The irony is that I thought I'd made all my necessary purchases before retiring. The willful expenditure of money when you have a paycheck is far different from living on a retirement income, so I'm now faced with the dilemma of how to buy something from Guitar Center that I don't really "need," but may find useful (in a sort of "why didn't I think of that?" moment).

I don't need a bass (I have four) or an amp. Pedals don't do it for me, although I have several. Cleaning and repair items I have a-plenty.

So, what am I missing? What would YOU get?

If you do any home music studio composing, perhaps a keyboard controller type thingy. That stuff is usually inexpensive for the ROI. YMMV

I had a look at guitar center online, and I found what I would get.
A new record player and a Beetles coffe mug.
I could dig out those old vinyl records and sit and listen while I have my coffee on the back deck.
I don't know if I would do that in the US of A right now though, It's summer in Australia where I am.
