How to stabilize a light head on a thundering cab?

My wife is a hairstylist, and gave me a silicone pad that she used to use for hot curling irons and such. It works like a charm!

Easy Liner shelf liner works well and is cheap. You can get it at hardware and even a lot of grocery stores.

heh, yep, I got a 6-pack of 2"x60" straps, which was overkill. Two are enough strap my 1x12 and micro head to a tilt-back stand.

Found 48" version of the Envisioned-type hook and loop. 60" was too long and 40" to short. Also going to experiment with vibration dampening pads under the cab, I think that should clean up things a bit.

60" can work for you. It doubles over on itself, if that makes sense.

Good ideas, thanks. Trying not to go into public places much (I'm in a city with terrible COVID numbers) and trying not to patronize Amazon. Ace hardware suggested pads they have for washing machines, 7 bucks but they said they stink something terrible and I should leave them outside for a day or two before bringing them inside. Yoga mat makes sense but I don't have one I can chop up. Sorthobane is pricey! Looked around. I really shouldn't be playing as loud as I was to make the head dance like that anyway when solo, but once gigs happen again will be glad to have proactively addressed this (also have a fresh set of Etymotic Research ER20XS' accordingly).

So I've got a light TC Electronic atop a Fender 4x10 and at volume the head dances all over the place.
Anyone have a great solution for stabilizing a head atop a thundering cab?

Depending on the cab, if it has handles on the side a simple solution is a rachet stap or even easier is a bungee cord.

This is what I use. Cheap, easy and works a treat.

It a thick rubber bar mat. I purchased it from Amazon which I see is not an option but you can probably get one from another box store.
It works perfectly.

I took a forstner bit and cut 4 cup holes into the top of my TL606 cabinet, about 3/16" deep for the rubber amplifier feet to sit in.
