How to stop Tinnitus

I tried the technique the video suggested...no change. I've had tinnitus from my earliest memories. I figured it was normal until I learned more about it later in life. When I was a child, the wall of display televisions in the seventies would clash with my internal skull racket and drive me up the wall. On the good side, I gave up watching television at an early age and never looked back, even after changes in the technology that removed the CRT noise. I feel lucky that the tinnitus can be drowned out/effectively eliminated when I play or listen to music. As for ever hearing silence, that happens very infrequently.

Yeah.
22 years ago I had a broken upper left side wisdom tooth surgically removed.
An hour or so after it was done,my left ear stars clicking and popping.
Then some fluid drained out.
Then the ear canal started to constrict and a ringing started.
I was given antibiotics.I took them as prescribed.

The clicking, popping and drainage has long since stopped.
But the ringing has been on going ever since.

Some tinnitus is due to a inner ear circulatory or nerve condition bought on by hyper extending my jaw.
My dentist told me I had very long tooth roots.

Not all tinnitus is due to loud noise.
Some is due to an Oral Surgeon hyper extending your jaw to remove a broken wisdom tooth.

Mine started when I developed TMJ. Sounds similar. I have heard people have reversed it using psilocybin mushrooms. Controversial mycologist Paul Stamets has patented a "stack" consisting of psilocybin mushrooms, lions mane mushrooms and niacin to stimulate neurogenesis. I live in an area where mushrooms are decriminalized.

I have started the process of finding my micro dose levels. The first time I took them I tripped for 45-60 minutes (too much for a micro dose) but the tinnitus was gone for 4-5 days afterwards. I am at my final dosage trial for finding my micro dose and plan to start the stack protocol next week. 4 days on 3 days off.

My hopes are improving my tinnitus and resolving the neuropathy in my right foot. Benefits of greater creativity and lighter mood and more emotional openness would be welcomed additional effects.

When I was 12 or so I had a somewhat similar experience, though it didn't immediately result in tinnitus, may have done some nerve damage that contributed to it later. I had 8 baby teeth that had deep and crossed roots, with the permanent teeth impacted below them. The dentist should have sent me to an oral surgeon but decided to do it himself and almost killed me. He had to use.lockjaw pliers and break the sidewalls of my jawbone to get them out. I went into shock for about half an hour of cold sweats and uncontrollable shakes, but eventually came out of it. I still wonder what other damage he did....

Oh Geez!!Man!!

Sorry but I don't refer to YouTube videos to solve health issues.

The best thing you can do is reduce all volume going into your ears, especially headphones.

I can say I've never heard of the Magic Mushroom cure.
Is there any scientific evidence of this?

Mushrooms are big mainstream research these days. For a number of conditions. All of the direct tinnitus evidence is anecdotal so far but there is plenty of evidence regarding both lion's mane mushrooms and psilocybin mushrooms as neurogenic substances. Johns Hopkins and Mass General are the big mushroom research centers right now. There is enough evidence of the primary benefits, and enough evidence of low risk that I have decided to explore microdosing for my neuropathy that came on during lupus treatment. I have a doctorate in a research methodological and applied statistics field.

It also turns out reputable mainstream medical research is looking at using psilocybin to treat autoimmune diseases and other systemic inflammation. Since my neuropathy is either a result of my lupus, or my lupus treatments, I feel extra hopeful.

I can say this, I took 0.5g of mushrooms and lost my tinnitus in 40 minutes, and it stayed away for a week. This is consistent with the anecdotal reports.

Some people report taking big doses and get long lasting results (while also having a 5+ hour psychedelic experience). Some people get results from microdosing.

The science is there for all kinds of benefits on this now that the dea is allowing real science again. We'll be seeing more and more studies as this is currently under active study and the research interest keeps growing despite the fact that I don't see how big drug companies are going to profit from it.

I think if i had to "cure" all the minor irritations in my life, I'd be too busy to do anything else. I pick my battles with health. There's a lot of relief in acceptance.

You're lucky your tinnitus is only a minor irritation. For some people it's debilitating. Mine seems to flare up with inflammation in my body and is distracting enough to keep me up at night or wake me from sleep.
