How to stop Tinnitus

A "legit tinnitus cure!?" literally described there, believe it or not, as nothing of the sort. Fancy that!? Hope it helps.

I have a precious ring in my ears. I call it my invisible jewelry, precious, and call it a day. I also take measures to protect what's left of the 'unadorned' ear'oles. Money (and thinking time) well spent. Call me a skeptic (but I won't hear you for all the blessed ringing).

Low level inflammation in the brain... I knew it was INSANE IN THE MEMBRAIN all along...

Mine resides right where 4K used to... Guitarist back in my prog rock days with a V4 full stack... thanks Neil... the gift that keeps giving.

Anyway as an permanent resident in "monitor world" and sometimes guest out at FOH, when I can't hire it out... If I can hear 4K, there is way too much of it.

I predict this thread is and will remain the longest running thread on TB. Because there is no known effective cure or even treatment for tinnitus. And medically there is no cure in sight. Hence the clickbait online scammers have millions of suffering victims to exploit with their 'one weird trick' trash until the heat death of the universe. It will be a sad day for these cybercrooks if medical science ever succeeds. Tinnitus drives some men mad but I'm handling it just fine.

Well, I'm convinced tinnitus, at least in my case, is neurological. I've been using a stack of lions mane, niacin and psilocybin to treat some neuropathy for the last 1.5 years. The neuropathy is greatly reduced, and completely symptom free in some areas, and the tinnitus has had breaks during this time. I have gone as long as 5 days with no ringing, and periods where it has been greatly quieted. This is a first in the 28 years I've been living with it. I'm not saying it's a cure or a treatment, but I'm eagerly watching as things shift.

This is good news. I have neuropathy in my feet and was prescribed Gabapentin but I never filled the script from side effects concerns. I tried niacin years back but the menopause level skin flushing made me quit it. I'll check out lions mane, though probably not psilocybin, too chicken. This is the first I've heard of a link between neuropathy and tinnitus but it makes sense. Now I'm encouraged to check out treatment for the neuropathy. At worst my feet might feel better. Thanks.

I'm not pushing anything here. But the psilocybin is taken at microdose levels. Too low to induce any noticeable effects. The 3 are taken together in the "Stamets Stack". All I know is my left foot is 100% neuropathy free, my right foot has improved by 80%, my right leg has improved 100%, my right hand has improved 80%, and my Raynaud's symptoms are reduced by 60%-70% In both my hands and feet. I'll never stop taking it at this point.

Also, psilocybin is being decriminalized a lot these days. You'll soon be able to get it safely. It's been decriminalized in my neck of the woods.

I have Reynauds in my right index finger sometimes in cold weather though not lately. I'm glad you posted because I found that Stamets 'microdosers' site and was going to ask if that was your source. Good to hear the psilocybin is too low to cause psychotropic effects. I'm definitely going to try this, my concern being the complexity of the dosing regimen. I'd like to change my hopeless tune about tinnitus. Doubt it can help my other health problems, arthritis and sinusitis, but who knows. Thank again for the tip.

The mushrooms are also anti-inflammatory. Depending on your type of arthritis it could help. Also, if it is inflammation based, consider looking into an anti-inflammatory diet. I had medication induced lupus. Twice. Which came with all kinds of arthritis like symptoms. The diet helped a lot.
