I like threads with vague titles. You never know what you're going to get.
My NBD threads are descriptive and no one ever replies. I should've put "GC DRAMA" in the title
Premature exaltation. So basically, pretend you’re a journalist writing the cover story. Be informative, Provide an enticing statement to draw the reader in.
What I find most irritating, and this is just me talking here, is the premature NBD’s. Just because you pressed the “Add to cart” button and you’ll get the bass in 7-10 business days, it isn’t an NBD. A true NBD is when the package is at your house, the box is open, and the packing material is all over the living room.
When you prematurely post an NBD, then you post a new, actual NBD, you clog up the site with empty threads. If you recycle your premature NBD thread to update it with the actual NBD, you will most likely get less traffic (especially from me) because people will remember that it was a premature NBD and not click it again.

In this age, we're lucky if someone uses punctuation and capitalization properly. So basically, pretend you’re a journalist writing the cover story. Be informative, Provide an enticing statement to draw the reader in.

We make a difference? Ever? Really? You probably mean well with this, but you must know that this thread will likely make a 0% difference, right?

Yep. If it says Fender, I pass it by.Yeah will click almost all generic NBD threads.
If it's too descriptive I usually don't unless the bass in question interests me.
Here's the upside to generic ones. I usually leave a brief complement of the new bass if I make into the thread. So, I wind up giving out more compliments due to generic titles.
One could infer that generic NBD titles increase love and peace.
Fair: "After a long wait, she's finally arrived!"
Only for metal, and only if Mothman isn't available.Yeah but are acoustic basses really worth it?
Best: Drummer loses virginity, gets firedBetter: "Sending the Drummer a Thank You card for doing us all a favor."
