Ok. So...
If I put piccolo strings on my bass and wanted to tune them an octave higher than the normal bass strings, am i correct in thinking that, if I am using an electric tuner, I would set my tuner for guitar instead of bass for it to register the correct pitch?
I have to use a tuner as I am NOWHERE near being able to do it by ear.
