What if I have a 4 ohm Avatar SB112, and I replace the tweeter with an Eminence LA6-CBMR 6-1/2", which is 8 ohms, and use an Eminence PXB:1K6 High Pass Crossover? What would be the resulting impedance?

Like I said in the other thread you asked in with a high pass your impedance will still be 4 ohms .
OK thanks for the help. Sorry for posting it twice, I just wanted to be sure before I buy everything.
3x10 sounds interesting
would be much more simple to build a 210 with a 6"
then if your looking for more SPL then build another matching 210x6.
otherwise the sealed back Alpha has a stable impedance curve from 700 to 1k. so it could be crossed over at 700 or 800hz and be well away from the 400hz resonant freq.
crossing over high around 1 to 1.6k is were its starts to rise in impedance and is really just killing almost half the bandwidth the thing actually puts out.
The [Invalid or Expired Link Removed] shows the impedance curve, and sure if you contact eminence they might be able to provide a higher resolution chart for you.
So you can design your crossover accordingly.
To simulate it in winisd just simply enter the TS parameters like any other driver and place it in a very very small closed box.
the impedance curve will be incorrect of course and the enclosure is already made...just a visual reference I guess to view SPL with the 10" pair
and get somewhat a idea how filter topology will effect its bandwidth. Winisd is not very great though for crossover and filter design
Likewise the bp102 could be a fun first project to work with, but instead of spending money on three of them it could be better to spend the same amount on just a neo pair. the sensitivity is rather poor and a neo pair could bring about higher spl and more power handling and even more highend. If you wanna stick with lower cost drivers a 2x12 build could be a better build. Since the bp102's do like a bigger box to get a flat response you could fill the same airspace with a much higher sensitivity driver. You do have the right idea with tuning though tune the 102's below Fs in 2 cubic
