Weren't the infamous "banana basses" from the early 90's?
Are you referring to bowed necks?? I've had two '96 basses...

Every one I've tried and the 97 I owned was fantastic. Early 90s Fenders have some questionable body shapes and some of the Kubicki style electronics were a little dodgy. Lace Sensor pickups (early 90s) are IMO some of the best ever to come on Fender branded instruments.specifically the mid 90s. About to jump on a P bass from 95 and was wondering how the company was back then as far as production/QC etc
Infmamous for their strange appearance only. They are from what I understand very good basses.Weren't the infamous "banana basses" from the early 90's?
