I don't claim to be an expert but I'm willing to put myself on the line by posting things that simply show I'm human, for better or worse.

What have you got? I'd love to see it.

I prefer "melodically-leading and flowing" harmony.
But it's yours, not mine.
Different strokes for different folks.

If I need to add some zest, (like your BbMaj13), I use it sparingly. It's like a joke, if you overdo, it could get "boring".
I've listened to your first opus/composition, "Wilwood".
I did not hear any Krantz. I heard more like Michael Franks.
But...

You're right, there is no Krantz in Wilwood. Who cares!? Just cause someone is influenced by someone else doesn't mean they have to be a parrot. That wouldn't be very original, now would it?

I never asked you what you thought of this music. Again, you made the assumption that I wanted to know your opinion. I did not.

I get hired for more work than I can keep up with, so I'm not too worried about my music. But thanks.
