How would you spend $5,000?

5K? Well, I have a 535, 6 strings are covered and a fretless MTD on the way, so I suppose I would just go for stuff that I used to own and love and wish I never parted ways with:

Lakland 55-94 - $1900
Fender American Dlx. P Bass 5'er - $900
Sadowsky Metro - $1900
EBMM SR5 - $300 ??? (More Fuzzy math)

Yeah, I know you said we couldn't pay bills, but I'd definitely pay off my last credit card bill ($300) - and then go shopping.

Matching MIA Fender J and P, black with maple fretboards, black moto pearl pickguards

Ampeg SVT-CL, with a SVT-210HE, and SVT-15E

and the rest, save for the rest of the bills.

That one would be easy for me, I'd get a LeCompte 7 string headless bass that would have lots of secret stuff going on such as buckeye burl, hidden controls, wooden pup covers, qaud coil pickups y'know, cool stuff like that, one can dream cant he?:smug:

bergie NV610
Marshall VBA400, than have it modded in some ways

let's see 2500 left...

I'm not in the place where I exactly know what kind of bass I want and if I'm spending that kind of money on something I want to be sure I'll use it! But it'll definatly be something not too fancy with not a lot of frills...
