HPF pedal

I'd like to try sending everything above 200-300 Hz through my Alpha Omega 900 and remove the lower frequencies but I can't find what I'm looking for. I just want a simple pedal, it's just the HPF I'm interested in. Any suggestions? I live in Sweden so I'd prefer getting it from somewhere not too far away. Is it hard to make my own HPF?

Broughton is the way to go for LPF and HPFs.

The combo Low + High Pass filter pedal was the gateway drug into Broughton land for many of us, but the regular separate LPF and HPFs are great as well.

It seems like what you really want is a crossover. That will split your signal into two bands - high & low - at whatever frequency point you like. The two most common ones I’ve seen mentioned on the forum over the years are made by Rolls and SFX

These filter RC circuits are extremely low cost. Of all things in your chain you don’t get a better HPF or LPF if you spend more. There is nothing boutique or rare in a band filter or crossover. Get one from a local store or online. A $200 HPF is not better than a $25 HPF.

A passive RC filter can work, but it relies on the source and load resistances of the gear it's between being fairly low and fairly high, respectively - if the circuit isn't hooked up to other gear that it meshes with well, its characteristics change. Also, most applications work better with a 2nd order or higher filter, which you can't do well with passive circuits.

So, you need an active filter most of the time. An active filter means you need an op amp (or transistors, or FET's). Once you get into active stuff, you have (among other things) noise to deal with. If you want a quiet filter, now you're getting into the territory where the active parts really matter. A $25 high pass filter almost certainly isn't going to use the best (quietest) op amp in its circuitry.

I would go for the Broughton HPF/LPF. Great pedal. I had to order it through the U.S. site (I'm in Scotland), but they got it to me no problem, so I wouldn't worry about getting it from further way.

Out of curiosity, what is your setup ? How do you expect to get the low frequencies back in the signal ?
Maybe what you're really looking for is a crossover pedal, to leave the lows untouched by the distortion, and then merge it with the distorted highs. Are you trying to recreate something similar?

I just added this one to my small board, and so far really liking it.
