That is a Peavey T-40 bass, a strangely cool bass with it's fair share of lovers and haters. Those pickups were oversize humbuckers with a tone control that rolled off the second coil.

the times i have seen him during the period of "Proceed" he was carting around a 75 jazzbass with EMGs if im' not mistaking is his main ax. i don't know what that is but looks heavy. nonetheless it was gettin the job done.

It was wierd to see Rahzel from this view. I haven't heard his music since I was working a crew for him in PA.

That is a T40 though.

I disagree with Hub about five plus string basses (he hates them), but I knew he liked that Peavey, and he sure sounds great playing it!

Hell yeah Peavey T-40. I have one of those with a blown pickup, so I'm letting a friend borrow it. We've both tried to fix the wiring... but it's the pickup for sure.

Great bass, great tone (even with a single pickup). Very wooden sounding to me, almost Ric esque with the right EQing. I think when I get some cash, I'm going to buy another one.

I'm a big fan of the T-40, and I'm quite happy with how few people appreciate it..... all the more for those who do It's an extremely versatile bass

Are those worth much . I was going bass shopping pawn shop style last year and came upon one of those , it was around 350 , it Looked cool but I didnt buy it. I ended up not finding anything the whole time too.

Look a bit more, you can get one cheaper. There is a nice one currently on TB.

I hate to do this, because prices will go up by time I get the cash to buy one:

Check Ebay, they are constantly selling them, and they go for under 200 WITH a hardshell case. An unreal deal. My secret is out

If you don't mind a tank resting on your shoulders, it's one of the best deals around.
