Huge rig thread!

My humble offering. Not necessarily huge in stature, but certainly huge in sound. :p:)

Ashly SC-40 in rack swapped out for a Demeter HBP-1J as of today. We'll see how it goes at two outdoor gigs this coming weekend. So far, I like what I'm hearing at home. :hmm:;)

Edit: At 5'7" at least I can reach the knobs. :bawl:

There's actually a very good reason but it's a secret that only a few people know and I don't think the world is ready for it yet.

This is six 15's and six 10's. I've since upgraded to a 6-12 cab under the 6-10 and the same 4-15. I use three amps now as well. I'm 5'-10" tall and it stands 8 " over my head. I can DROWN out two full Marshall stack with this no joke. ( old marshalls too... not that new wimpy crap they're selling these days!) This is my medium stage rig. My huge rig is still yet to come.

beautiful. you posted on the acoustic forums, did you not?

i used to run my setup with two acoustic 220s, but needed a little more power.

Yea... I'm one of the resident weasels on that forum. I've never used a 220 but I've got a 320 and a 330 and lemme tell you... all these guys posting pics of their SVT's and saying that they are "loud" just tells me that they have yet to plug into one of these things. I've got a couple of 370's as well ( a few 470's and a 450 too.. oh and a 150 and a 140 also...) and a full 360 double cab ( john paul jones!) set up on the way. I've actually got not one but two of the 6-12 cabs and two of the 6-10 cabs. I'm working towards getting a gig where I can actually put together the mother of all rigs; two 18 horns, the 4-15, two 6-12's, two 6-10's and a couple of secret weapon cabs I'm still in the planning/design stage of.


I listened to your myspace stuff (cowards). very nice. You guys have two 220's!

This is my 78 SVT head with two 810's. The right one is from 78 and the left one from 73. Protected by my 83 sunburst Fender P bass, my 77 Fender Telecaster bass and my old Squier P bass.

For even a more evil big rig I could have added my 73 SVT head, and my 73 V4 head. Would make a nice pic, but I never have it all in one house at the same time. So taking a pic is a bit of a problem.

I know it is in my bedroom, but I am no bedroom hero. It was just the place with the most room cause I live fairly small. Normally I have them standing on either side of the bed, without the head on top. Makes nice bed stands!

thank you! i no longer use two 220's, but i still hold them in very high esteem and would love to own one (if not two) again. those recordings were done with a 220, however.
