Humidity?

Is there an ideal temperature/humidity range for solid body electric guitars and basses?

I have some hanging on the walls in my studio, and got a humidity meter and calibrated it. Looks like it's at 72 degrees, 62% humidity in the room, but i'm not sure if it's settled yet, it's only been a day or so since i calibrated it.

Generally if you're comfortable, the guitars are too. In my part of the world, the problem is too little humidity. I don't want it below 45% RH, but that's mostly due to have a couple of solid-wood acoustic guitars. Solid body electric instruments are much more forgiving, though when the humidity changes, the necks will most likely move and need truss-rod tweaking.

I'm there too: if you're comfortable, the instrument will not be exposed to too much. What I had found was not so much humidity or lack thereof but if you have wide swings of humidity.
In Southern AZ we have Monsoons and deep humidity then at other times such dryness that there is not even one percent humidity in the air. I would consider a case rather than a wall display if you really believe you have a humidity issue or if you've seen alterations previously.
That is where I have had problems: with wide variations.

Haven't seen much alteration or anything, they stay in tune well. Just wanted to check, and I came up with little on searching.
