I got the garbage pail kids bass finished. I went with warm gold for the bass coat and then got this custom paisley film made. I want to put black hardware on it but I don’t have an extra $500 at the moment so chrome it is for now. I’ve got a aged white, aged Pearl and a tort pickguard coming. It’s drilled for a pickguard but I’m not sure if I want to put one on.

No guard or clear , that finish is too nice to cover.
I want to do a paint over paisley relic on a sbmm short scale I have. This is the film for that project. I’ve got to figure out the top color.

I got the replacement logo here. The paint and clear coat are automotive grade so it’s pretty durable. I’ve been playing my blue paisley bass for around 2 years and it still looks great. I gig it a couple times a month usually
I liked it as well but the finish was straight trash. I would have kept it if it were done better. I’m pretty sure the bass was returned several times b/c of the terrible finish job.
I'm guessing there are more sticker covered basses out there than hydro dipped paisley basses.
