To me, Muse sounds like Queen raping Radiohead. Two bands that I love, but put in a terrible scenario.

You call it derailing, I call it bumping.

I asked about the signal path to Hysteria...

Big Muff, Deep Impact and clean pedulla through multiple Marshall DBS heads and cabs, played live, simultainiously. No trick, no other synth, no double tracking. The octave was a studio trick added in to fatten up the preverse....

There you have it...

And now we have the answer. Looks like activity here is going to drop 65%.

So I'm the only one who thinks it's weird that the Deep Impact tracks Hysteria that well?

Maybe the Deep Impact is just taking part for 10% in the Hysteria sound so you won't hear the tracking issues?

Maybe it is the output of the Pedulla that agrees with it in this instance... I don't know.

I play songs way, way faster and busier than Hysteria with a Deep Impact and never had an issue.
Whoever told you this pedal had tracking issues is a liar.
