Congrats to you. Animal sure is a looker. Reminds me of my girl, Soleil.
She's about 4 now. My wife found her in a small box on the side of the road with 4 other, very ill, siblings..... 2 were already dead
. She brought them all home and nursed them back to health. Found good homes for the other 2, but Soleil was the sickest and my wife just couldn't let her go. I inherited her when I got married. We think she may have some lab in her too, however, we'll never know for sure.

OH HAPPY DAY! Congrats, Major! My boy and I became cat-dads about six months ago. I can't remember a happier time. He'll be waking you up in the middle of the night, for sure.

Dayumm!!!! We got Kyuss(yes, like the band) for $200.How do the beagles compare to puggles ? I saw puggle puppies recently for $800 !
It's hard for me to say. I didn't inherit our Beagle until she was more mature. We got Kyuss when he was about 8 weeks old. Soleil, the Beagle, is much more calm, and a female. She's definetly more emotional...... typical female
If you don't spend enough time with her, she gets depressed and mopes around.... no kiddin'. She's playful, but moreso with humans than other animals. She's not aggressive toward them, but generally shows little interest in engaging with other animals. She absolutely adores me. If i'm on the couch, she's laying her head on my lap. If i'm at the computer, she's laying by my feet. Total daddy's girl.
Kyuss, who's almost 2(about 21 months) just kind of "goes with the flow". He loves socializing with other animals and is very friendly toward people too. He and our Boxer, Leonidas(9 months), are best of buds. He's also the most vocal. He doesn't like it when someone walks by our fence. He let them know it's his turf, but he's all talk
. Everyone who meets Kyuss loves him.Leo's much bigger now, but since day one, he and Kyuss were "thick as thieves".
Just got off the phone with my Grandma, she thought I could do alot better then Animal for his name. As I said to my Sister, his name is Animal, end of discussion.
