I bought my first delay pedal

So today I received my first free Guitar Center gift card (that comes off the price before tax) for having their credit card. I went in to my local establishment and my regular sales fellow proceeded to take my money from me.

I think I did good. I’ve searched and found that most folks on here say it works better with passive basses instead of active. Is that much of an issue?

Nice big box DMM! I don't use delay for bass but the DMM is my absolute favorite analog delay pedal for guitar, especially with a touch of the chorus or vibrato mixed in. It gets a bit noisy with longer delay settings, but that is part of the whole analog BBD chip experience. I don't know how they get along with active circuits.
