I have a Q-tron i love it but the volume spike is a little annoying so i need a compressor for it. I am getting a moogerfooger low pass filter and after reading this thread maybe a discombobulator, damn you t'bers!!

The Disco-Bob is a great pedal, as noted by others in this thread. The sound is very pure and musical. However, it tends to be more of a subtle effect than some of the others on the market.

The Digitech BSW has a wide variety of cool noises, and one of the best tracking octave sounds, but as an envelope filter alone, it's a bit lacking (IMHO, YMMV).

The only thing I didn't like about the Q tron was the tinny thiness it gave my tone. Dialed in correctly it was awesome, but I didn't like having to make quick adjustments onstage. Still an awesome pedal though.
