I can't find the purple Fender

I've got a P bass in that same color, a MIM from the '90s according to a serial # search

Oh and you wonder why most Jazz basses and smaller-necked Rics don't work for me?
I have big mitts (large hands) and can't play necks that are too small or thin... Heck, fat P necks are almost too small... 
This is the bass you'd like to match, my 1963 P...the color can be found in the Ford auto color chips around 1970-72, because IIRC I had it painted Ford Gold Metallic in 1972:
This is my 2000 MIM Jazz, which is actually Midnight Blue. Many people think it's purple (and it appears to be that color under some lighting conditions) but IT IS NOT. As a loyal Washington State Cougar, I own no purple garments, accessories, instruments....nothing in that color. Purple does not exist in our house....it's a nasty husky color.
My wife used to give me grief that that bass was purple, and my response was that if she insisted on defining it that way, I'd immediately sell it and replace it with a Crimson (WSU colored) one. She decided to leave well enough alone. Fender calls it Midnight Blue...so blue it is. That's my story and I'm stickin' to it!

Yes sir lol, I couldn't remember who the TBer was that I got that pic from (I put in on my photobucket to edit but that didn't pan out so well). However, I want a good finish in the colour. Walnut stain seems to do the trick for lighter woods. But I'll put a wood pickguard on mine... maybe oak stained dark brown, not sure.
Well, thar y'go. A Ford gold metallic color from their color charts in the early 70's. It's actually pretty close to one of Fender's factory colors, but it's a bit darker.
