I'm surprised you can even think of sleeping with the car alarms going off every time the thunder strikes! My neighborhood is a symphony of alarms - I don't know how my girlfriend is able to sleep so soundly, but somehow she is!

me and my wife share a car and she works a 12 hour night shift (she's a nurse). this translates to me sleeping from 3am-7am, then again 8am-noonish. only three days a week though. yay for the unofficial insomniac thread!

Lifelong sleep disorders.

Went to sleep at 2315, woke up at 0115, may not get to sleep again before 1000. Have tons of work to do, including digging out and replacing my sewer line in the back yard.

Lie in bed unable to either wake up or go to sleep.

Link Removed enjoys the sleep of the just curled up with me under the blanket.

Me, I live in a constant state of jet lag.

I belong to the early riser insomniac group. If I make it until 430, I am happy. Usually, the bulb goes on at about 3am.

I got rid of my bed in January. I was feeling cramped

I ended up shoving him over around 5am and I had him sleeping in my arm pit. He woke me up at 8:30 to go pee, and I've been up since...
